Camel Brushed Wool Suit

A relaxed two piece in a soft camel brushed wool, closer to a warm blush than a true tan, with a lightly napped surface that catches the light instead of reflecting it. The jacket is single breasted with a slim notch lapel, a two button front, a welted chest pocket and jetted hip pockets left deliberately flapless so the line stays clean. Four buttons at each cuff, all tonal, and no contrast anywhere — the colour is the entire statement, so nothing else competes with it.

The shoulder is soft and only lightly structured, and the body skims rather than grips, which is what lets the jacket work over a plain white tee as easily as over a shirt. Trousers are flat front, tapered and cropped just above the ankle, sitting cleanly on a sneaker or a loafer without breaking. It's a suit that refuses to look corporate: wear it as a set for weddings and warm evenings, or split it and put the jacket over jeans. Dry clean only; brush the nap gently in one direction and avoid pressing the trousers flat, which flattens the texture.
